I had the joy of being a surrogate for the second time in 2024-2025. I was pregnant with a baby boy. My experience was unique. Beginning with 1 failed embryo transfer but ending this journey with many friendships and a healthy baby boy. Like all surrogates, we overcome obstacles big and small, but we all end with a miracle. My failed transfer happened in April 2024; my 2nd transfer was in May 2024. I went through acupuncture and a natural cycle to help this time. (Acupuncture helps with blood flow and relaxes the body.) With a positive pregnancy test and high HCG, I overcame. Each milestone I documented with photos, including all heartbeat recordings. Every kick was followed with a smile.

I knew this journey was special. It meant that all our hard work was going to be celebrated in the end. The intended parents were going to get exactly what they had wished for and deserved. Finally, my due date came, and with the intended mother by my side, I gave birth to her son in February.
